Ready To Go!

I am so excited, just 15 days from now Annie and I will be on our way to Hachinohe, Japan!!! All of the trainings are completed and now the real work begins. Annie has been my trainer plus we spent one weekend in Ft. Worth with some training for our team. The questions have been answered, we’ve practiced reading sessions, studied about our host site, worked on our team dynamics and now it’s time to get busy.
I am overwhelmed by the prayers, words of encouragement and the financial support of my friends and family and amazed at what total strangers will do and give to help spread the gospel.
Bob has done all he could to help me. He made my address labels for my support letters, encouraged me to study my Luke workbook, fixed meals while Annie and I did training sessions. He’s driven me to Great Bend for trainings and even kept Annie’s dog for our Ft. Worth training. More importantly he’s prayed with me for the work, my health and this trip.
We depart June 2 from Wichita, KS and will return to Wichita on June 29. Just 27 days to plant the seed and be an example to all we come in contact with. I know many people are praying for the readers, the local Christians, and the work we'll be doing.
