NAME CHANGE?

I'm sitting here debating about whether or not to change my Blog Title - should it remain "Kansas Mom" or do I change it to KANSAS GRANDMA? YES -WE ARE GOING TO BE GRANDPARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jacqueline and Jordan told us the GREAT news the weekend we were in Kansas City. We are going to be grandparents in April. It has been a hard secret to keep - but Jacqueline and Jordan wanted us to wait until after their doctor appointment and sonagram and they wanted to tell the grandparents and aunts & uncles themselves. Everyone got their announcement cards Friday and yesterday in the mail so I am free to tell the world.

Weekend in Kansas City

We had a great weekend in Kansas City with our whole family the first weekend in August. Jordan and Jacqueline were in Kansas City for 4 weeks while Jordan worked in some hospitals and clinics. It sure was nice having them that close so we could all meet.
During the weekend we cooked meals together, played games, did some singing and just had a good time hanging out together. Jared was able to come with Annie. The sisters and brothers-in-law FINALLY got to meet him.
Saturday afternoon we went to a Royals game and they even won! IT WAS HOT, but we had a great time. I was the only one who had never been to a professional baseball game before. It was Military Appreciation Day and there were some great activities to go along with that.
Sunday we worshipped together, had some good Mexican food for lunch and then packed up our stuff & cleaned up the home where we stayed. We were blessed to have the weekend together and I for one am praying that Jordan's residency will be somewhere close (like Kansas City)!
